Eric Shanfield (b. 1979) is a Brooklyn-based writer, composer, and artist whose work has been described as “subtle,” “engaging”, and “unexpected” by the New York Times. Mr. Shanfield’s music has been championed by artists including Timo Andres, Contemporaneous, and ACME, who have recorded forthcoming albums of his music. He has completed a novel and a book of poetry, with two works of nonfiction in progress. Selected artworks have been exhibited at the Andrew Edlin Gallery and are available for sale.
